Where are brittle stars known to exist in Australia's N and NW Key Ecological Features?

Researchers from Project D1 of the Marine Biodiversity Hub of the National Environmental Science Programme present this interactive map-based summary of where brittle stars are known to exist in the Key Ecological Features of the N and NW regions.

Data were obtained from the Atlas of Living Australia and the Australian Institute of Marine Science.  ‚ÄčAs our aim in collating this data was to identify locations where brittle stars had ever been observed, we retained all data regardless of age. The data contains records of where brittle stars are known to exist, but none where they are known to be absent.
